Christmas Break Plans
Christmas Break Plans
For Christmas Break I'm going home for the break which I'm really excited to do because I love the Christmas holiday it's one of my favorite seasons. The first week of Christmas I'm going to be spending it with my family because we like to do a lot of activities during Christmas my grandparents and my aunt and uncle usually go to see a movie as a family and then go out for dinner afterward. It's been a family tradition as long as I've been alive and we always stick to it. We also like to play board games which always gets very competitive especially when you have 5 siblings that all have played sports so no one likes to lose. There is always that one cheater in the family as well but in this case, there are two, and that's my dad and my Oma they love to cheat and we always catch them cheating. We also will be having Christmas at my grandparent's house as usual and we will be having dinner there and opening presents.
Another plan that I have going on this break is to go on a ski trip with a lot of my friends for three days in Wisconsin. I've really been looking forward to this because we were originally supposed to do this last year but we had things come up last second and we had to cancel. This year we are renting an Airbnb up there and are staying 2 nights and skiing for 3 days. All my friends are really excited as well because most of them have skied a lot in their life but for a couple, this is going to be their first time and we all can't wait to see them ski for the first time. We are going right before New Year's as well so we will all be together on New Year's and spending it together. This will also be my first time home during New Year's because every year we usually go up to Michigan with my grandparents but this year it's too hard for my grandparents to go.
I will also be going on a ski trip with my family to Utah after New Year's to go see my 2 brothers who live there and enjoy the really big mountains that they have. I'm really excited to go there because I've only been there during the summer when it was 100 degrees and super warm. I want to see all the mountains have snow on them and I want to see the immaculate views from the valley because there is really something special there. I'm also just a little scared of the mountains that they have there because they are huge and the ones around where I live don't even compete with the ones in Utah they are like 2 times the size of them. Also, I'm very excited to see one of my brothers whom I haven't seen since August when I went to move him out there so that will definitely be very exciting. All in all, I'm just very excited for Christmas break and the very eventful break that is ahead of me.
