 Free time

Over the past couple of weeks, I've been enjoying a lot of free time on the weekend with my friends. Last weekend we went to see The Bean but it was unfortunately it was under construction and we were kind of mad but went to see more around Chicago because when we went the first time we weren't able to see all of it because we went up late. Then when we came back we just went out to eat and then chilled in one of our dorm rooms.

Also, I've really been enjoying time with my soccer teammates we had a barbeque over fall break and that was really fun to get together off the soccer pitch. We played bags, we also decided to barbeque which was really fun and then after that we went out to top golf which was a lot of fun because it was my first time going there. Which was a lot of fun because it's good to grow a bond with your teammates and build that comradery with them.

 First College Goal I'm going to talk about my first ever soccer goal for north central and how much it meant to me. So I scored my first ever soccer goal against Carthage College last Saturday on family weekend. The reason that it meant so much to me not only was it my first goal but it was also in front of my family and friends. My grandma was there to see it and my grandmother hasn't really been feeling well recently so it really meant a lot to me that she came and supported me at my game. First Semester Of College

 First Semester Of College Recap                 For it being my first semester of college I would overall say it was a success. I came into college honestly not knowing what to expect, to be honest really. The reason I didn't know what to expect is because all these people tell me all this stuff about college and their experiences. Yes, they have been through college already and they have more experience than me but everyone ones experience in college is a lot different people from a bigger school are going to have a different experience than someone who maybe had a went to a smaller school like me. Class Expectations for writing

 Hi, my name is will Mayer! This is my first year at North Central. This blog will be for my CARD 101 class. For my class expectations in this class, I want to become a better writer and extend my thoughts in writing instead of being very vague with my writing. In high school I really struggled in writing, because I feel that I wasn't really understanding what the author was getting at. Now that I'm in college that's very key to understand, because the writing level will be higher and there will a lot of information being thrown at you. I feel that one way that will help me is rereading and taking notes on what I read so then I can grasp what I just read.
