Picture Of Some Family

 



I picked this photo because this is half of my family and we were hiking in the mountains is salt lake city. This is where I spent my whole summer and it was one of the most beautiful places that I've ever toured. The reason I was spending summer there is because my 2 older brothers moved into an apartment there so I ended up staying in their apartment for awhile. When I was visiting there I went whitewater rafting and I also toured the mountains on electric bikes. I also to where the 2002 winter Olympics where held which was super cool to see and see all the history.


Secondly, I picked this picture because this was my first ever time hiking and it was such a surreal moment. The reason I say that is because why were so high up in there air and one slip your done for so there was a lot of nerves but also so many great pictures. Once I came back to Illinois I was like wow this state is so boring because anywhere you would drive in Utah there would just be mountains in the background. Another great thing about it was the weather it was perfect weather in the valley.

lastly the great thing about Utah were the people everyone there was so friendly and always so kind and helpful. They were also always happy and always had a smile on their face. I would definitely recommend visiting there. Especially if you love to hike or is you just love the outdoors because it will definitely not disappoint.

So I scored my first ever soccer goal against Carthage College last Saturday on family weekend. The reason that it meant so much to me not only was it my first goal but it was also in front of my family and friends. First Semester Of College

 First Semester Of College Recap                 For it being my first semester of college I would overall say it was a success. I came into college honestly not knowing what to expect, to be honest really. The reason I didn't know what to expect is because all these people tell me all this stuff about college and their experiences. Yes, they have been through college already and they have more experience than me but everyone ones experience in college is a lot different people from a bigger school are going to have a different experience than someone who maybe had a went to a smaller school like me. Class Expectations for writing

 Hi, my name is will Mayer! This is my first year at North Central. This blog will be for my CARD 101 class. For my class expectations in this class, I want to become a better writer and extend my thoughts in writing instead of being very vague with my writing. In high school I really struggled in writing, because I feel that I wasn't really understanding what the author was getting at. Now that I'm in college that's very key to understand, because the writing level will be higher and there will a lot of information being thrown at you.
