Class Expectations for writing
Hi, my name is will Mayer! This is my first year at North Central. This blog will be for my CARD 101 class. For my class expectations in this class, I want to become a better writer and extend my thoughts in writing instead of being very vague with my writing. In high school I really struggled in writing, because I feel that I wasn't really understanding what the author was getting at. Now that I'm in college that's very key to understand, because the writing level will be higher and there will a lot of information being thrown at you. I feel that one way that will help me is rereading and taking notes on what I read so then I can grasp what I just read. I also feel that if I start writing more and more I can better my writing skills and expand my thoughts in my writing. Secondly, in this class I want to expand my vocabulary because in high school I was using the same words over and over.
